A strolling zone as well as a leisure area, you will find equipped areas for a picnic, paddle boats, a mini-golf course, inflatable water-games, several beach-volley courts, a cable skiing facility and also an acrobatic forest park.

Detail

2 itineraries available to get to the Lac de la Cavayère by bike. The first one, following the GR36 (white and red sign), more challenging and natural, it goes through the arboretum. The second one, via Montlegun, follows the road taken by the car drivers, where a dedicated bike path starts half-way.

By going around the lake (about an hour walk), we find a diversity of landscapes and ecological niches, going from freshness to heat, from shade to bright light. In the middle, a bird island is dedicated to nesting ducks and other species.

Detail

Between old stones and vineyards of the Carcassonne area, this little bike ramble will make you appreciate wines from the Domaine Sarrail even more. After a warm welcome in the cellar, you will tour the domain (vineyard + cellar), followed by a commented tasting of their best wines.

Bike tour between rivers and hills, you will enjoy a stunning view on the Pyrénées mountain range, before the commented tour of the Benedictine Abbey of Saint Hilaire. Built during the 8th century under the reign of Charlemagne, it hosted monks until 1748 after numerous twists and turns.

Bike ride along the Canal du Midi on the green lane that reached the towpath in Bram. Eburomagus, now called Bram, became in the Antiquity one of the largest urban area on the Aquitaine path, between Toulouse and Carcassonne. Amphoras, everyday items, funerary artefacts among all the other remains discovered on site and in the Ouest-Audois area.
